World Graphic Design Day is celebrated annually on 27 April.
The date has been celebrated since 1995, on the anniversary of the International Council of Graphic Design Associations, with the aim of recognising the role of communication design in the world.
On this day, all graphic designers and all professionals related to the design field are congratulated. Activities such as graphic designer meetups, design competitions, designer presentations, among others, take place. On social media, creations and photos related to the date are shared using the tag “World Graphics Day”.
Graphic design is a creative process that conveys a specific message to a target audience. In graphic design, various methods of creating and combining words, images and symbols are used, with the aim of assembling a visual representation of ideas and conveying messages.
