Who Can Apply?
Primarily, entities that qualify as SMEs (micro, small and medium-sized enterprises) of any nature and legal form, as defined in Annex A of the Regulation.
In any case, projects submitted by the public sector of companies are not eligible.
What are the programme values?
First of all, the values vary depending on the type of company. So, if it is a micro-enterprise, the value will be €25,000. Likewise, for small companies the programme value is €40,000, and for medium-sized companies it will be €50,000.
However, the total amount of incentives granted to a 'single company' under this incentive system must not exceed the limits set out in the current framework. Specifically, €100,000 for the sector of road haulage of goods on behalf of others, and €200,000 for other situations, over a period of three financial years.
Furthermore, the incentive is calculated by applying a base rate of 60% to eligible expenses. In other words, additional increases may be added, i.e. 10% for projects submitted by micro and small enterprises, and 5% for projects located in Porto Santo.
