Google is rolling out some new tools in an update to Maps on Android. The main one is that, now, the user can follow establishments and receive notifications about events, promotions and other activities in stores, bars, restaurants and other points close to the user.
With the latest update, not yet available to all users, she added a new tab called "For You," in which offers information on nearby locations of users. Now such sites that are followed on the platform will also appear in this app area.
