The announcement was made on the official Messenger account on Facebook. "Emojis have changed the way we communicate with each other. It's a smiling face to show we're happy, a thumbs up for approval, a pizza when we're hungry. Emojis are a fun, easy way to express yourself when words aren't enough. People love them," the post explained.

According to Messenger, nearly 10% of messages sent through the app use emojis. But not all platforms have kept up with their evolution. And this is quite noticeable for users. Who has never had the experience of sending a message and the recipient receiving a black box or meaningless symbols? Well, this problem has also been solved. The company has standardised emojis for Android, iOS and other platforms. Regardless of which emoji you use, there will be no risk of the recipient seeing something different.

In pursuit of racial and gender equality, emojis of women in positions of power and leisure activities have been created. These include police officers, athletes, surfers, swimmers, among others. Additionally, users will also be able to choose the skin tones of the characters. It will be possible to set a default tone and apply it to all emojis or change it each time you use them. Redheads have also been represented, you see? 😉

How Do Emojis Work?

Emojis are available on all platforms and can be found in the Facebook chat tab, separated into different categories.

It's an excellent idea, we love it and even recommend the tool to all our clients! 😉
